Creativity and sustainability collide as we take unloved and unwanted objects and turn them into amazing artworks together
Mosaic for kids (all ages with adult supervision)
$30 per child*
Let kids be free to experiment in ways they've always wanted to. They will be allowed total creative freedom to glue cool objects such as beads, pom poms and old toys onto their mosaic. The final work will be grouted like traditional mosaic, creating a fabulous hanging plaque.
This workshop is a great way to reuse toys that would otherwise be discarded. It teaches kids about reusing materials and how products can have a second life.
Transform treasures into sculpture (ages 12+)
$45 per person*
This workshop uses found objects that were destined for landfill. Using the basics of mosaic, smash, cut and glue old porcelain, jewellery and other trinkets to form sculptural pieces such as candle holders, vases and planters.
All materials are sourced from resource recovery centres, op shops or were donated because were going to be thrown away.
Flower crowns (all ages with adult supervision)
$85 per person*
While less of a focus on sustainability, this workshop is a winner with all ages. It shows how something beautiful can come straight from nature, without the need for artificial materials, plastics or glues.
This workshop is popular for Hen's nights and festivals.
Decoupage (all ages)
$45 per person*
Learn the retro art of decoupage. This workshop breathes new life into objects no longer fashionable. Participants will take images from old magazines and collage layers, creating a completely new aesthetic look.
This workshop requires ability to use scissors, so adult supervision is required for younger participants.
Revamp Your Denim (all ages)
$45 per person*
Take your pre-loved denim jacket, jeans, shirt or skirt and add breath new life to it. Using stenciling, paint and photo transfer, create colourful and hate-coutre designs.

Melanie delivered an excellent workshop and our participants raved about their experience. I was really impressed with how Melanie was able to challenge the participants to push outside their boundaries and trust the process. They all created amazing works and were really proud of what they were able to achieve.
